Harry's is always my downtown Lakeland date night go to. It's never pretentious and is always on point with service and flavor. They also make great cocktails for hanging out at the bar. The place is much larger than it appears. Large groups are okay. The only thing I wish they did is to take reservations. They do have call ahead seating, but sometimes that can be a chore, especially for weekend dinners. I think one of their best dishes is their shrimp and grits. You get a monster portion with plenty of shrimp. Another winner is their Market Pasta. Again, tons of shrimp and chicken. It's so much food it was actually 2 meals. Service is top-notch with the servers stopping by just enough to where it's not constant hovering. Harry's has a few locations around Florida. Definitely check them out.

My team and I always stop here during Sun n Fun. The place is so nice inside and busy. Gregory was our server and I was surprised when he remembered each of our names. That man definitely deserves a raise! Every time I come here, I HAVE to order the French Baked Scallops and Grits. This is probably the best thing I ever ate. I feel like I'm in an episode of Shokugeki (Food Wars) and ripping off my shirt with every bite lol. It's so good, this dish should be illegal.

We ate here for lunch today. It is an inviting and clean and the table spacious. It is a New Orleans themed restaurant. Our server was Kyle (with a smile). He was courteous, helpful explaining a few dishes and very attentive and had something of a Louisiana drawl. My wife ordered the fried grouper. She said it was very fresh, not greasy and very tasty. My friend and I each had the shrimp and grits. The grits were creamy, the shrimp cooked perfectly, the sauce piquant with a hint of (spice) heat. Recommended!

What a fun and beautiful spot to visit! Friends brought us here for a special early dinner. Service was great! The young man was attentive & very helpful in helping us choose drinks & main meals. Food was delicious! Plenty of leftovers that tasted even better the next day once those seasonings set in even more. Definitely look forward to going back again soon! Great happy hour times & days too.

Great place to take your friends if you enjoy eating a lot of food. The portions are very large most of their past dishes. I the Seaood and Chicken Creole dish, yummy. I ate it all. Everyone else took home a doggy bag. Our waiter was so awesome and very attentive. He gave good menu recommendations. We were seated outdoors because the weather was great, just the right temperature. Indoor seating is just great, with booth or stable seating for your small or large groups. If you love seafood, Creole style Harry's is the place everything on the menu is great and the prices are reasonable. I recommend Harry's, and I can't wait to return to try a few more of their dishes.

Harry Styles needs to update his song to Banana Sugar! If they have Banana Creme Brulee, make sure you save room. Even if you don't have room, you'll find room. It had to be the best version of Brulee I've ever had. The main thing was the cream was banana flavored, instead of the usually bland part that needs every part of burnt sugar to be good. 10 stars for the banana creme brulee. Yes, start with dessert like this review! Now onto the rest... you're likely to see a pretty long wait here as it's a popular place. We drove from Orlando to meet some friends who were staying in Tampa. Service was great with the waitress keeping up with our drinks, bringing extra bread and making recommendations that were good. We were there early enough (5p) where we were able to take advantage of their early bird specials, which are smaller portions of their meals. Drinks were decent, but nothing super overwhelmingly good. I had a Hurricane and a Margarita and didn't feel a thing... when I fell flat on my face! Ok, that didn't happen, but I didn't even have a hint of a buzz. Typically, you get that with a Hurricane. Must have been a Category 1. Food wise, the seafood is good, and that's why you come here. I had the crab crusted redfish which was pretty good. The crab "crust" (aka stuffing) had a nice char on it which always adds flavor. The Mrs. had the Mahi Arugula (Early bird size) which was a good portion. I didn't try it because I'm not a fan of Mahi, or Mahi Mahi. It's double the blech for me. The sauce was good though. Others at the table had the scallops, which looked great and a burger that was super dry. Stick with seafood. I'd probably come here regularly if I lived closer and I understood the proper time to visit to avoid the crowds. It's not worth the drive from Orlando or Tampa just to eat here, but served as a good halfway point. NOTE: There are places I would drive a few hours just to eat at, this isn't one of them.

Words cannot even begin to describe the amazing experience we had at Harry's. From the minute we arrived and up until we left, the service and food was perfect! The fried green tomatoes and crab cakes was a great start to our evening meal.

First of all Brandy & Sarah are amazing personalities. I appreciate the compliments to my skin & taking off the crab cakes bc someone forgot I order them. However I wasn't too happy they put another customers business on blast. I didn't need to know she picks her kid up from the police station and she's a millionaire based on dog clothes. I also didn't need to know she's has a 9yr she's drives around and gets drunk with bc she Ubers lol. I just think there's three sides to every story and if you're not getting tipped enough that's fine, but call child services don't vent to other customers. Especially when that customer comes in twice a week & you're excepting her money! I think if you don't like the customer but take their money anyway, there's a bit of jealousy there. There's a rule to kick out customers if there too inebriated but to keep feeding it and talking crap about it is wild. To say "well we all just conform bc she makes it a thing" , just to get paid is very wild, either you take your power or you don't. Maybe they should adjust their policies. Now to my food. The first day was ok. Two days in a row my appetizer was brought out with my food, which really blew me , bc an appetizer is before the actual food. Now they did customize my French 75 with pomegranate juice so I loved that. The coleslaw is really good! Fries too salty. First night I had the grouper fries it wasn't too bad. The flavor and crunch was everything. It gave disheveled deviled egg + fried fish. I also had the jambalaya that I expeditiously sent back, it was sweet and didn't come in a bowl (sorry no pic bc I refused to entertain it). I replaced the Jambalaya with beans and rice that came with the sausage on the side;that's was wild lol. How was the sausage not chopped inside ,but it's fine, I liked it; I didn't love it. I just think as a Florida restaurants should leave New Orleans food to Louisiana. Harry's is New Orleans inspired restaurant that is fully populated by more non black folks then black ppl; so appropriation is real lol. Now the crawfish and shrimp dip was a no, it tasted more American cheese based than anything, although I know it wasn't. Like they did the flour power vs letting the cheese do its thing. I wouldn't recommend. The burger was pretty good though (sorry no pic) ! The fried shrimp was great, the bread was so good and fresh. They do have a thing for fresh French bread! I tried the crusted red fish and that was good as well. The friend green tomatoes were 10/10. I came here 3 days in a row. The best was sitting at the bar and meeting new people. I love meeting people and chatting and everyone was so nice! I just wished I didn't here about the lady she was nice but definitely called Sarah a b-word real loud and proud (but also drunkenly) and I was like wow. If I would've done that , playful or not, I wonder what would've happened. Anywho it's a local favorite so locally I can see why it's a big hit. If Sarah and the other girl didn't talk about the lady I would've given 5 stars. I just think we should be more sensitive bc we choose the jobs we have no one forced us to keep it.

I've been to this location many, many times and expect to go many more. Everything I've eaten here has been great! I could easily eat the bread and butter as a meal but instead I gorge myself and eat it plus a meal. It's always tough to decide what to get but this time I got a shrimp and crawfish pot pie on the seasonal Mardi Gras menu and it was phenomenal. Collard greens are also delish. I overheard another patron say there had been a fire and there has clearly been some remodeling- it was much brighter and more open in the bar area than my prior visits, but the overall vibe stayed.
